Good morning.

It nears 1 o'clock. In the morning. Time is a strange phenomenon: an hour ago it was Friday night. I was babysitting sleeping kids, playing angry birds and doing Latin on my iPad. Then the iPad decided to die on me. So I sat. And waited. I had a nice little quiet time- except for the dog barking in the backyard (what in the world could he be barking at this time of night?) and the eerie wind chimes outside.

However, now it is Saturday morning. I am still babysitting (this totally counts as babysitting two days in a row, right?). I am writing a post via text on my phone, which I will eventually send to my iPad then post on my blog. All that is to say that whatever ramblings that follow will most likely be incoherent and probably won't make a lot of sense. I will also most likely try to avoid topics which I cannot rightly comprehend at this time of night (Day? Morning?).

Take math homework, for example, which I just pulled out in an attempt to be productive. Please note that 6 minus 8 does not, according to Mr. Saxon, equal -14 . Just so you know. I also just discovered that my walking abilities at this time are not at their best. Of course, my best walking abilities slightly resemble that of a zombie even at a normal time of day. However, I think that is a wonderful description of how I feel at the moment- like a zombie. A hungry zombie. But not for brains (or pizza, of which I have had 4 slices in the past 7 hours). Just to clarify.

So. Before I start to describe other human functions that don't seem to be working right at this time, I think I'll sign off. Or just stop texting. Good night, err, morning everyone!

Hilarious post. At 1am I would make no sense. Whe I babysat at your age the only thing I had was the TV with about 6 channels. Had to read or do homework :) Don't you love it when "old people" start remembering the "old days".
Love ya, NANA
