Eight

Today is Maddie's eighth birthday!

To mix it up a little, I decided to have an interview with her this morning!

So what's it like being eight?

 Well I'm not officially eight yet, but I'll tell you about being pretty much eight: it's fun. 

What do you not like about being 8?

 Sometimes you and Ben get to do stuff that I can't do, and that's no fun. But we get to some stuff you can't do, so it's okay!

What is your favorite thing to do?

Draw or paint....really any kind of art.

Who's your favorite sibling?:)

Right now? Ben was being annoying a few minutes ago, and you're doing fun stuff with me....so right now it's you. But really I don't have a favorite!

What are some lessons you've learned in your eight years?

Don't tell Dad he stinks after a bike ride, or you'll get in trouble. Megan's not very friendly before 9. Touch Ben's legos- you die. Don't wake Mom up from a nap. Mei Lynn is a bed hog!

What are words you would use to describe yourself?

Funny, sensitive, creative, happy.

I would add pretty, sweet, thoughtful, smart, and loving.
