We live in the Sahara desert

"Houston has received about 1.5 inches of rain in the last three months, which is roughly equivalent to what the Sahara Desert gets during the same time period."

Yikes.

But . . .

It is currently pouring out here in the Sahara!
Our rain dances have paid off.

To celebrate I grabbed the camera and a sister for pictures in the rain:)

We only own one rain boot.
Hmm . . .

We haven't used the umbrella in forever!!

We were marveling at the water falling from the sky on the way home from church when we heard
"Blessings" by Laura Story:

"What if your blessings come through raindrops. . ."

Megan,
Nana Leslie and I are pleased that you are getting rain in Houston. We know that Texas has had drought conditions. Our rain levels in New Hampshire have been about normal. All of our leaves are at "peak change" this weekend. The trees will be bare by the time the Fridges get to New ZHampshire but the "wild turkeys will still have feathers...
