My day, thus far.

I made an astounding discovery today.
There are only 88 days, 9 hours, and 16 minutes until Christmas.
That made my day:)

I took this picture this morning.
I love it!
It made my day:)

I have a grade above 100 in Biology.
That made my day:)

Nana went home.
That made my day sad:(

But. . .

I color-coded my homework. . .which always makes my day happy:)
It really does help - each color means something.
For example . . .
Yah, I know it's backwards. You get the picture:)

Red is the stuff I really really have to get done (tests, papers, etc.)
Blue is the stuff that I really could care less about (stuff I can do in a few spare minutes)
Green is the stuff that's going to take me a long time (reading The Iliad, learning vocab, etc.)
Oh and the yellow is just there 'cuz with all that red and green it looked too christmasy.

So there you go - I knew you were just dying to know what I've been up to.
And how was your day?

So, who taught you to color-code your homework tasks?? Great idea! Sounds like something I might do, so I could take credit if you want to give it to me. :-)
Love you, Mom

Mom never color coded her homework as far as I know. That is your orignal idea. I am sad to leave you also. We had a fun time. See you in just about 6 weeks though. Can't wait. LOVE NANA

Megan, Your Dad never color-coded his homework either - not sure if he ever DID his homework! (just kidding)! :) At ACU, he was actually on the Dean's List! I never color-coded my homework assignmments, but I did (and still do), keep ALOT of lists, and check them off.....Grma KK

My day was great! I really like your idea about color coding your homework.
Have you figured out a way to make what you write disappear? Like the numbers you put on a check? Let me know as I could save a lot of money that way...! Just kidding....
