Final Days of Washington D.C.

Sooo sorry that I haven't finished off our trip. We've been home for almost two weeks- but we've been super busy! I'm not going to list anything in order (It's really hard to remember all we did) but in the last 2 days of Washington D.C. we went to:
  • Arlington National Cemetery
  • The Library of Congress
  • The Capitol Building
  • The Pentagon (My favorite!!!)
  • Georgetown- a cute city right outside of D.C.

In Georgetown, we ate a famous restaurant called Martin's Tavern
Brit Hume- a news commentator was eating there and I got my picture with him!!
The Lincoln Memorial

Korean War memorial
We found the name of one of Grandpa Jim's friends on the Vietnam memorial wall

Lincoln Memorial

We went to church at the National Cathedral!!

Capital Building- in the hall of statues standing next to Sam Houston's statue

The dome of the Capitol building

The Changing of the Guards at Arlington

I don't remember whose grave this was- maybe one of the Rosevelts (did I spell that right?)

Outside of Arlington

I love the pictures! Thanks for putting them on your blog. The gravesite picture is at President John F. Kennedy's grave. He is he one with the eternal flame.
